Timesheet Tags for Better Tracking & Visibility

To bring consistency in how work is categorized and analyzed, we’ve introduced the Timesheet Tags feature.

Purpose:

• Currently, milestones are being created based on individual understanding and reporting needs, leading to inconsistent analysis
• To standardize this, we’ve introduced a master level Tag structure that enables uniform and accurate analysis across jobs and teams

What’s new:

• Assigning a tag while adding a timesheet log under a job is now mandatory
• This ensures consistent and structured classification of work across all projects
• You can filter logs via Timesheets → Employee → Filter by Tag for better analysis and reporting

Migration update:

• Tags have not been backfilled for past timesheet logs
• We will gradually migrate tags for older timesheet logs

This enhancement is a step towards standardized reporting, better visibility, and more reliable insights across the organization.
