Shadow Role & Logging Control for Job Employees

We’ve introduced two important improvements in the Job Employee Management section to make job coordination more accurate and flexible 👇

Restrict / Allow Logging

Job Coordinators can now disable time logging for specific employees without removing them from the job. This resolves past calculation inconsistencies caused by employee removals.

  • Old behavior: Removing an employee from a job also deleted their logging access (causing data mismatch).
  • New behavior: Coordinators can simply Restrict Logging to stop new log entries while keeping all past logs intact.

To re-enable access, use Allow Logging.

Restrict Logging→ Employee stays linked but cannot log new hours. Allow Logging→ Employee can log hours again.

Assign / Unassign Shadow

We’ve added a way to mark supporting team members as Shadows when a senior is handling client communication.

Assign as Shadow → Tag the junior assisting a senior in the project. Unassign Shadow → If accidentalu assigned as shadow then remove the shadow tag.

This helps track mentoring assignments and contribution clarity in shared projects.
